Hot Pilates series 1-2
Learn the foundation, terminology and philosophy of Pilates, the 18+ pilates mat exercises, anatomy, how to cue, teach, pace, and put together pilates foundation exercises along with hit drills that will motivate and inspire using the core in ways that will produce profound awareness and results within yourself and your students. Discover new inner strength, transform mind and body, increase stamina, improve your overall health and achieve a new and exciting physical well being. Each subsequent program builds upon the information learned during this course Hot Pilates series 1-2. Practicum, application and sequencing along with loads of inspiration and perspiration equals Be University Hot Pilates Series 1-2 Teacher Training.

For anyone who loves Hot pilates and desires to deepen their understanding of the philosophy, practice, and fun Hot Pilates method and for anyone who desires to be a Hot Pilates instructor and or already is a pilates instructor and would like to learn the foundation, teaching method and philosophy that makes Hot Pilates the challenging, popular, training that it is.

Lisa Jean has been an advocate of Health and Fitness, mind, body and soul for over 25 years and has been a trained, professional dancer for 37 plus years. She has performed around the country as well as locally, with various performing Dance and Theater productions. Currently Lisa is a certified 500 hour RYT, Power Pilates certified Mat 1 and 2, Hot Pilates certified Master Instructor, series 1-4, Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA and registered through the International Ballet Barre Fitness Association. Her passion and love of dance has been a life long! Lisa makes you work hard and at the same time leaves you feeling inspired knowing that you did the best you possibly could that day. She pushes and guides you to your edge causing a breakthrough for yourself and your fitness level. Being in her class or training is more than getting fit but more about becoming better in every single way.
Lisa’s classes and trainings reflect her desire to pass on her love and passion for a healthy lifestyle.

In this program, we dive immediately into the structure of the human body covering anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and applied kinesiology. You will learn the difference in muscle fiber types and how and where oxygen exchange occurs in the body. You will use these fundamentals throughout the in-depth and rigorous Pilates Teacher Training program – first learning how the body works and then how to apply this knowledge through Pilates-evolved and Pilates-based exercises.

With all Pilates movements and techniques, our student teachers learn how to address the many imbalances and injuries that people face  in day-to-day life. Graduates of our training program develop a deep understanding of the musculoskeletal structure and system, gaining insight to help clients from all different walk of life, while safely exercising and challenging all individuals.

We believe there is strength in numbers, strength in the evolution of Pilates techniques, and strength in our motivation to make Pilates studio affordable and accessible to everyone. Hot Pilates offers similarly bendy-bodied fun in a heated room, but this time classes are less focused on practicing calmly meditative poses, and more intent on developing core strength and muscle tone, and banishing chronic aches and pains. Celebrities including Madonna, Jennifer Aniston, Miranda Kerr, Claire Danes and even David Beckham all have a devoted Pilates practice.
